Afternoon: we will take you to the desert of Bahrain. Drive through a fishing village, witness the highest hill; Jebel Al Dukhan, the First Arabian Gulf Oil Well, the oil wells currently producing oil, followed by a brief stop at the Bahrain International Circuit; the home of motorsport in the Middle East.

Today we will visit the Bahrain Fort, a registered UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pass by its in-house museum to learn more about Bahrain’s rich history.(Museum closed on Monday)
Drive past the largest prehistoric cemetery in the world – The burial mounds stretched across the northern side of the island.
Head out to the Camel Farm; home to over 500 camels, for an opportunity of a close encounter with the traditional method of transportation in the past and fondly referred to as the Ship of the Desert.
In the afternoon, a 10-minute boat ride from the fisherman’s jetty in the south of the country will take you to Al Dar Island, one of Bahrain’s natural beaches. Spend the afternoon on the resort enjoying the water sports* or just simply relaxing.
Visit one of the largest mosques in the world – Bahrain’s largest place of worship and one of the largest mosques in the world. The mosque accommodates up to 7000 worshippers and is crowned with the largest fiberglass dome in the world. The walls of the mosque are beautifully ornamented with Kufic calligraphy.
After that, we will proceed to The Bahrain National Museum, which will take you through a 4,000-year historical journey, highlighting traditional handicrafts and traditions of the Islamic period.
Your final stop of the tour will be at the traditional market, Manama Souq. This souq, situated behind Bab Al Bahrain has scores of shops offering a wide range of goods from textiles, spices, incense, perfumes, handicrafts, and souvenirs, as well as more modern products from all over the world. There are also a number of traditional coffee shops inside the souq.
Enjoy an authentic Arabic lunch at the popular Naseef Restaurant/Saffron Restaurant in Bab Al Bahrain.
